Wing Brett - PIVC Co-Director
Head Coach - Gulf Shores High School - Wing has coached club volleyball for 15 years.
During those 15 years, 5 of his club teams have qualified for the USA National Tournament.
Also, Wing has been a high school varsity coach 10 of the past 11 years. During his 9
years as a varsity coach, Wing's teams have made the elite 8 six times, finishing 2nd in
2003 & 3rd in 2005 at Gulf Shores High School, and both of his Fairhope High School teams
qualified for the 6A elite eight in 1996 & 1997. The 1997 Fairhope team finished 3rd in the
6A AHSAA Elite Eight State Tournament.

Shawn Weaver - PIVC -Director
Head Coach - Gulf Shores Middle School - Shawn has been a coaching member
of the Gulf Coast Region the past 11 years. Shawn is the only person in our region
with experience of coaching girls and boys volleyball in South Florida. Shawn was
introduced to the volleyball coaching profession by coaching legends Russ Rose -
Penn States Head Coach, Ginger Mason, Billy Eubank, Jeffery Brett, and many other
knowledgeable technicians.

others. As a result,

motivated attitude that
propels them to
excellence beyond
athletics.
